She is passionate about combining her medical training with the proven benefits of Thai Massage and Therapeutic Yoga to balance body, mind, and spirit.

OT and Yoga provides strategies to improve daily functioning.

Sometimes, challenges in physical and emotional health make everyday tasks difficult. For example:

  • Arthritis as well as the effects of aging contribute to challenges with flexibility, strength, and/or balance. This can make it difficult to stand for prolonged periods, get on footwear, or get up and down from the floor

  • Chronic back or neck pain make it difficult to move easily, contributing to a more sedentary lifestyle.

  • Osteopenia/Osteoporosis create the risk of bone breakage.

  • Stress or anxiety can take joy out of life and lead to worry.

Yoga has many proven benefits, and is accessible to everyone. It makes the road to joyful health easier to accomplish.

Thank you, Carrie Pollard Donoghue, for showing me the amazing benefits of Thai Yoga Massage!! After tolerating (and trying a number of alternative methods for relief) chronic back pain for years, I was blown away by how much relief I felt after our sessions. And the stretches and yoga poses you taught me have truly helped maintain the relief! I highly highly recommend!! Not only is she a gifted therapist, but Carrie's professionalism and nurturing, calming demeanor is fantastic. Treat yourself!

I have really enjoyed my sessions with Carrie. I think the exercises she tailored for me have really made a difference for my core strength and my posture. I had thought my posture was a lost cause, but it has greatly improved. I most look forward to the body work Carrie does with me after I demonstrate where I am on my exercises.

Kate, Portland

Carrie is a gem! Her grounded, encouraging approach and expert insight has helped me to improve not only the symptoms for which I sought her out, but my whole wellbeing.
